Position/Program: Outpatient Mental Health/Schools Hybrid Therapist

Anisha Willey

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Pets: I have a dog named Oliver, a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix who is incredibly cuddly and loves nothing more than a good game of fetch.

3 favorite things to do:
Being outdoors has always been a huge part of my life, whether I'm camping, hiking, swimming, or kayaking. More recently, I've discovered a love for cooking for others and experimenting with new recipes. I've also practiced yoga for over 20 years, and it remains a
grounding, mindfulness-centered part of my routine.

Something I like to do outside of work: I love going to concerts and dancing with my LED hula hoop, which is my favorite way to tap into my creativity.

Something Interesting about me: From my years as a backpacking guide, I picked up a range of primitive skills, including fire-starting with a bow drill, cooking over an open flame, and building winter shelters.

Why I do what I do:
I've worked with youth for over 16 years across a variety of roles and settings. I've always believed in advocating for young people, and their families, who need a supportive presence in their lives. This work has always mattered deeply to me, and I'll keep showing up for our community, no matter what role I'm in.
