3 Favorite Things: Acting, animation, and a good running bit

Something I like to do outside of work: One one my favorite things to do is compete in film festival competitions with friends. My favorite being the annual 72 hour horror film fest put on my the Art House here in Eugene. I love to draw and paint though Ive been really into learning animation recently. As of recent Ive been having fun playing pool, pinball, and darts with my friends.

Something interesting about me: In my family I am one of nine being the second youngest. Growing up in small town of a little under 1000 people. Since my town was so small and out of the way my High School couldn’t offer many electives though we had aviation and engineering and fire science. On top of that I started the Theater program at our school for my senior project in which I directed 3 plays and a short film. And Im happy to say the program is still up and running!

Why I do what I do: My whole life Ive been surrounded by people who struggle with mental health and substance use who couldn’t get the care they needed or hadn’t ever felt safe enough to reach out for help. My mission is to get as many eyes on what we do here at LGS as possible. Listening to the stories my co-workers share about their path to recovery and their passion to assist others on their own, makes me proud of the the amazing people I work with and the work we do here. The care is here for anyone who may need it and Id like everyone to know that.
