Pets: One Dog - Max is a spunky Terrier Whippet who we rescued 7 years ago. His favorite thing to do outside of cuddling with my children is stealing their toys.

Something I like to do outside of work:

I love adventuring with my children and my dog. I am big on selfcare this includes going to CrossFit, spending time with my tribe, reading a good book, and any form of art.

Something interesting about me: I love lifting weights. 

Why I do what I do: Sitting in my Juvenile Probation Officers Office on 06/06/04 struggling with my addiction and mental health she said this to me, " I believe in you, and you are worth so much more than this." The feeling that I had when I left her office, that I was made seen, and most importantly she reminded me that my past didn't have to define me anymore. I knew from that moment that I wanted to provide a safe space to other individuals, to make them feel seen. That moment in her office showed me that this work matters.
