Sean Grosse

Drug and Alcohol Counselor, CADC I, CRM

I come to this work with lived experience. My path into behavioral health started in treatment and continued through Oxford House, peer support, and my education at Lane Community College. Along the way, I completed an internship at Chrysalis Behavioral Health, where I deepened my understanding of how recovery, mental health, and real-life stressors intersect. These experiences shape how I show up for clients today.

My approach to counseling is practical, person-centered, and rooted in respect. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all recovery. I focus on meeting people where they are, building trust, and helping clients develop insight, coping skills, and accountability in a way that feels realistic and sustainable. I draw from motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care, always keeping the client’s goals at the center of the work.

Outside of work, I’m a parent, a lifelong learner, and someone who values community, physical activity, and staying grounded in everyday life. I believe growth happens through connection, honesty, and showing up consistently—even when it’s uncomfortable. That belief guides both my personal life and my work at Live Grow Share.
