3 Favorite Things: Rock climbing, spending time with friends, and being a part of the recovery community. 

Something I like to do outside of work: I've gotten really into hiking. I like to make time to go out into nature and explore. My favorite trail to go on is Ridgeline to Spencer's Butte. 

Something interesting about me: I’m a first-generation American. My family and I moved to Iran when I was a baby. I spent the first three years of my life there and grew up speaking Farsi.

Why I do what I do: Going into school, my goal was to help people through social services. After going into recovery myself, I learned about peer support and loved the idea of supporting someone as they discover what recovery looks like for them. I value being able to walk alongside people in their journey and support them in creating a life that feels meaningful to them.
