Psychiatric Clinician

Live. Grow. Share. is a community-based organization serving the OHP-Medicaid population in comprehensive mental health services.  We are looking for a Psychiatric Clinician to provide care to individuals enrolled in Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment.  This position would begin as part-time hourly and could work into full-time, if desired.  The Psychiatric Clinician will receive clinical supervision and mentorship from a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with over 28 years of experience.

L.G.S. is a new Peer Delivered Services Organization in Lane County providing Mental Health, Integrated Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment, Residential Treatment for adults with SMI, and Dragonflies: Peer Mentors for Parents Involved with Child Welfare.

Qualifications: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, or Psychiatrist, preferably with some experience in behavioral health.
Start Date: As soon as possible, and flexible
Job Classification: Part time working toward 32 hours/week full time.
Salary: $78/hour, $10,000/full time monthly salary
L.G.S. provides clinical supervision and mentorship from a Board Certified Psychiatrist
L.G.S.is a certified Integrated Co-Occurring Disorder provider organization and holds an OHA Certificate of Approval. Psychiatric Clinician will be working with a team of LMP, QMHP, CADC, QMHA, and Peer Support Specialists.  We provide services solely to OHP Members.
 
Roles and duties:

  1. Conduct initial psychiatric evaluation, formulate a treatment plan, and manage follow-up care as medically indicated for interested participants enrolled in our outpatient mental health program, Integrated Co-Occurring Disorders Program, (and potentially) Residential Treatment homes after the new year

  2. Work with L.G.S. team and community partners to provide wrap around care to participants

  3. Employ a person-led, person-centered, trauma-informed treatment approach

  4. Complete note/reports and charge slips

  5. L.G.S. uses AdvancedMD Electronic Health Record platform.​

Full Time Benefits:
Medical Benefits: All staff and their spouses/dependents will receive medical, dental, and vision benefits immediately upon full time employment through PacificSource Commercial. L.G.S. contributes $600/month toward premiums and offers three plan options.
Retirement Contributions: L.G.S.will begin making contributions to Human Interest on behalf of the employee after 6 months of full time employment. Matching contributions will begin at 3% and over the time of employment, reach up to 6%.
Sick Days: L.G.S. provides 5 paid sick days per year
Vacation: L.G.S. provides 15 paid vacation days per year
Floating Holidays: L.G.S. honors holiday pay for federal holidays. L.G.S. understands not all holidays are federally recognized, despite their importance to the person. For this reason, L.G.S. offers employees to choose 10 paid holidays. A holiday could be any day of the year that is important to you, your family, or your culture. An example of how this can work: if an employee chooses to work Christmas Day and take off Winter Solstice as a holiday, the employee will receive holiday pay for Christmas Day and Winter Solstice will be a paid day off.
Monthly Wellness Day: Each month, each staff member will get one paid day off for wellness. This day will be determined in collaboration with your supervisor.
32-Hour Work Weeks: Because 40 hours is too much work! L.G.S. believes mental wellness and personal/family time is important and it’s hard to make time for that when you’re burnt out from work.
Wellness Incentives: L.G.S. will incorporate staff support groups, Multicultural Committee, wellness activities, gifts, and bonuses.

Mental Health Therapist – Master’s level

Starting salary of $5,700 for non-licensed QMHP. Compensation increases with experience at L.G.S., licensure, and dual credentials (CADC). L.G.S. provides clinical supervision, training, and support in obtaining licensure.
